I came into this camp after having done an Introduction to Programming course at school, and I was really happy with how the course challenged and supported me. There was a solid review of all the prerequisite concepts, and the new content was done in small, manageable pieces with practice in between. I definitely learned a lot of new material and built a lot on my old skills, which helped me prepare for the advanced computer science course I'll be taking at school next year.

The teachers were all really helpful, checking in with every student individually and ensuring that no one was falling behind. We never felt rushed, but also still covered all of the material on time. Isaac and Paul definitely deserve a raise for being such great teachers (and putting up with our group's chaos all week). I made some great friends on this course and definitely want to come back next year for the level 3 python course.

Python OOP review

This course was really fun and I learnt so much more about Python which will be very useful for my GCSEs later. The topics covered were advanced but our teacher explained the concepts clearly and helped us when we were struggling. I would definitely recommend this camp to other students!

This camp was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Although it began with a slightly slow start, things quickly picked up pace, and before long the schedule was full of engaging activities and plenty of opportunities to learn. The evening entertainment was fun and well thought out, providing a great balance between relaxation and excitement after the more focused sessions during the day. The pastoral staff were fantastic—always approachable, supportive, and willing to help whenever needed—so I had no complaints there at all.

The tutors were equally brilliant. They not only made the sessions highly productive but also ensured that everyone stayed motivated and on track. I was able to get a lot of work done while also enjoying myself, which is not always easy to balance. Their teaching style was both informative and encouraging, and that made a big difference in the overall experience.

Overall, this has truly been a great camp. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, learned a lot, and created some memorable experiences along the way. However, since I have already completed most of the courses offered, this might actually be my last camp unless more advanced levels are introduced in the future—perhaps something like a Hackathon 2 or AI 2. If those become available, I would definitely be interested in continuing, as every single course I’ve taken here has been excellent. If not, then I can happily say that this has been a wonderful way to conclude my journey with these camps.

My first day i came in early I wasn't excited and thought coding was boring but when I got into it i had a lot of fun, and i made some friends and played with them. We worked on some coding and we worked on some sprites and i learned how to create. All the other days were the same but we worked on different things but i had not some fun A LOT of fun my teacher/helper was amazing and very good at helping and explaining. Also the other teachers were playing with us in the breaks and there was a girl teacher i do not know her name but she was very helpful.

Overall this was a week i won't forget highly recommend. Best coding experience ever!!!!!!

Incredible club

as one of the many children who has experienced some truly terrible clubs on a regular basis this one was an fortunate break i have nothing more to say then i would certainly come back and fondly recommend this club to any children ages 5-16

The camp was very fun and I learned so many things that I (mostly) understood :). My final project was wonderful and my chatbot could do a variety of things that I had learned throughout the week. The tutors and other pupils were very nice, everyone is really friendly and one of the tutors, Abul, gave a very emotional speech at the end that inspired us all. I stayed at the residence and it was very good :) As well as learning a lot of fascinating new things about how AI works and even creating my own AI, the evening activities were also very fun. A marvelous experience on the whole - if you're a girl reading this then don't be shy and try out a camp, although it is mostly boys, we need to add more inclusivity to the field of computer science!!!

The camp was nice, I enjoyed making and designing the games. there were a lot of interesting info and with a lot of resting breaks too, which was good. I learnt a lot of things, such as using a tilemap, adding sprites and including some C# code to create components too :) It was nice.
