Our Westminster summer camps take place at Westminster City School. Camps run Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with optional wraparound care from 8:30am for early drop-off and until 5:30pm for late pick-up - hours designed with working parents in mind.
The heart of every summer camp is a structured tech course. Your child picks a subject - anything from beginner coding to game design or more advanced programming - and works on it all week with a specialist tutor, in a class that averages six children and is capped at eight. The week ends with finished projects of their own and a completion certificate to take home.
Plenty of families in and around Westminster juggle school holidays - and a camp that runs proper hours matters as much as what happens during them. FunTech summer camps run full days with wraparound care at both ends, supervised breaks, and a different physical activity each lunchtime. Inside that structure sits what we’ve done since 1996: real, tutor-led teaching, with screen breaks through the day and time outside whenever the weather allows.
FunTech is a technology education provider, not a general activity camp. Courses at our Westminster summer camps cover areas such as coding, game design and creative technology, grouped by age and experience so that a seven-year-old beginner and a teenager with real coding experience each get a week pitched at their level. Children learn by building practical projects - and by understanding how they work, not simply following instructions.
