I loved it.

Ever since i started funtech, i learnt a lot about coding, and i want to continue. it finally is helping me get closer to my dream of game development. i enjoyed this term, and, although i struggled sometimes, i think i did well because the tutors help.

Overall this year with funtech has been really nice. My teachers were really kind and my lesson varied with interesting information. Funtech is really fun and I wish to have more lessons in the future.

This was a blast from start to finish, learning various different fun things from making classes and objects to drawing shapes with tkinter, even making a fully-fledged working pac-man game with working ghost pathfinding AI! The tutor was also very nice, always willing to help people out no matter what they were stuck on, and there is really nothing to dislike about it. I am looking forward to PCO3.

Brilliant

It was a brilliant course, we learnt tkinter which is a GUI and abstract data types and pathfinding algorithms. This was a brilliant course with excellent projects such as Pac-Man with levels, Battleships and a working Login Form.

Roblox Game Developer

It was extremely fun to do and I leant a lot although we didn't do lua coding whereas the page for this course says it has lua coding. I learnt how to use constraints, forces, properties and the terrain editor!

this year was great i learned so many new skills i didn't even know i had.
My favorite subject was PhotoShop i quickly got new friends and it was extrordanarely good as allways . the teachrs where realy nice and freindly.

I have really enjoyed my first year at FunTech, beginning the A-Level course. I have found it challenging which I believe is important because it has helped me to become more independent and think, "outside of the box," in order to complete programming and theory tasks. I have really enjoyed my first year at FunTech, beginning the A-Level course. I have found it challenging which I believe is important because it has helped me to become more independent and think, "outside of the box," in order to complete programming and theory tasks. I quite like the homework system because it is very organised but also very friendly interface on which I can easily ask for any help or resubmit parts to ensure I reach a very good benchmark of 90% or even higher. I believe the class notes are very helpful, especially for revision however I believe more mini-assesments, perhaps half term ones would help with tracking progress and increasing motivation to revise. Furthermore having short quizzes or surprise quizzes especially on topics completed at teh very start that may have been forgotten would help with retention. Finally my Tutor Jake has been very helpful with guiding and teaching, especially with the practical aspects. One improvement on this would be in the first two terms when theres quite a lot of programming we go through in lessons, having a shared file of the programmes we look at or attempt in class with model answers from the practise questions would really help with revision and learning. Thank you for this year !

The catch up lesson was really useful and the potential do homework after. I will also potentially redo my homework to pass the 90% bench mark during August and revise on top of that so I can be fresh for next year.

I loved every second of it, and it covered every aspect which we would need to know for later on in life. I particularly loved SQL as that was all about making your own DATABASE! The tutor was very nice and wasn't boring at all. I highly recommend this course to others.

What a fantastic coding course! Funtech PC01+2 FastTrack Review

I thought that FunTech was brilliant! I learnt so much and some lessons were hard, but my tutor was so nice, and whenever I missed a lesson, there was always a catch-up course. We learnt about all of the basic stuff, then went on to Tkinter, graphs, adjacency matrices, pathfinding, data structure...

Why FunTech is worth it

I really enjoyed what FunTech had to offer, from nested loops to turtle. My tutors were really kind and helpful whenever I was stuck or confused and the challenges definitely helped you learn and improve. If you're thinking about joining, I'd say go for it - there's so much to discover!

This year I learned many new things about Python, such as different data structures and how to use Tkinter even more. I cannot wait for next year's lessons, which are focused even more on games!

My AMAZING experience with funtech

I had a fantastic time with funtech this year, I particuarly liked Dreamweaver as we learned some fun javascript, I wish we did more! I enjoyed have this experience to use web pages!

During my Funtech course I learned lots of new skills, it was really fun to learn about the different designing apps and platforms that we used. I enjoyed working with photoshop and illustrator most it was a really fun experience and i have used them outside of the course.

I have had a lot of fun learning with FunTech this year. FunTech has taught and guided me through a lot of fundamental and useful programming techniques and abilities that are vital to a future as a programmer for fun or in a career. The tutors have been very supportive and feedback to a course is always responded to and acted on promptly which has ensured that I always fully understand the constructs I have been taught. I am very happy to have worked with FunTech and would definitely recommend them as a good organisation for learning effective programming.

i really enjoyed funtech. i specifically liked word processing and databases. everything was really clear and all the skills i have learnt have already encouraged me to make a business with my robot designing friend.

Enjoyed it

I enjoyed animating a lot and have learned new things. One thing I dont like though is the constant reminder for feedback and that every lesson must have feedback.
