I honestly have learned a lot about artificial intelligence and the structural basics behind it, term 1 was very interesting as it was closest to actually creating a chatbot like chatgpt with tasks like the detecting the sentiment of text. Term 2 was more difficult for me, maybe because I hadn't got further into the mathematics behind it in school at that point in time and also there were less tasks that yielded visual results leading to me not enjoying that term as much as the others. Term 3 was highly enjoyable, i very much got the hang of it by the end in using AI for games, im definitely going to continue my studies into artificial intelligence and hope to study computer science at university. Thank you for all the courses over the last 10 years!

honestly it has been a really superb and fab cpurse to be in and ever since the begging where i did not get a thing, i have now got proper underatsiing of diffent thing in python. as a wrap this is a fantastic learning space

I enjoyed the last term the most because of all the creative freedom I got from it, and making the chatbot in the second term was also very fun as you had freedom to create what you wanted.

In this course, you use a variety of programs and here is what you can do with them:
1. Adobe Illustrator. In Illustrator you make cool pictures and can design logos.
2. Adobe Photoshop. In Photoshop, you can fix old photos (if they were scratched or something like that) you can also edit images.
3. Adobe Animate. In Animate you can make cool animations like a high speed car chase.
4. Adobe Dreamweaver (my favourite). In Adobe Dreamweaver, you learn about HTML code (the type of code this program uses) in dreamweaver you can make websites.
That is all the stuff you do in the CreativeTech course.
I personally found it fun.
And if you do not understand something in a lesson you can type that in the end of lesson feedback. Which you are required to fill out every lesson. If you do not understand something. FunTech will book a catch-up session for you to go over anything you do not understand. And once in a while you do a test called the "SkillsCheck" for your tutor to see if you understood well.

Funtech review - PureCoder Lv 1+2 FastTrack

This weekly course was very fun - it had lots of solid Python in it and you also learnt the official names of stuff in Python. All the teachers were nice and they help you when you get stuck. Thanks FunTech!

I found this year very helpfull

I found Funtech helped me a lot with my coding skills and i during this course i had loads of fun and challenges which made it really fun and this was very good. I had loads of fun and also overcame the challenges along the way.

I enjoyed the PC04 course this year and feel I learnt a lot about C++, the lessons were easy to understand

This course covered a lot of the basics and useful features of C++ which is very useful if you are trying to scale up your ability in the future. The tutor was excellent and always eager to help you if you encounter any errors. Our class was quite fast so most of lesson time went to consolidating past and present information which was actually very helpful as it meant you didn't have to keep looking back to remember certain techniques. I also found the challenges to be very fun, particularly when you are nearing the end of the course and can explore a wider variety of projects. Overall, an excellent course with an excellent tutor!

This review is for all the courses I have taken at FunTech over 7 years, I can confidently say that this whole journey has been a more than a fulfilling experience. I have learnt a lot about developing my algorithmic skills from the start where I learnt all the functions of applications such as word and excel to the final years where the courses were orientated around python and even Unreal Engine game development. Every year, the courses have felt fresh and something brand new and I have also learnt a lot of new skills to get to this point. I will definitely be adding a lot about FunTech in my personal statement when I apply for UCAS and it has been a pleasure, it is sad to see the journey finally come to a permanent end as it only felt like yesterday that I was being taught how to create spreadsheets.

I had a spectacular time learning how to create my own game engine in python (using a handy tool known as pygame)! I had loads of fun creating games and developing my own game engine, which will certainly come in handy!
I really like how we started our engine from the basics, but expanded it over time and eventually it becomes this superpower to easily make games with. It lets you really go in depth and learn how everything works, rather than being given a big, complete file with everything in it and you being unable to understand anything. In fact, I have even adapted my engine at the end of this since I have learned so much!
Finally, I say a massive thank you to FunTech and all the tutors and people who took their time to write and teach the course material and write countless extra activities to keep you busy if things are slightly slowing down! I would recommend this course to anybody who enjoys and understands coding.
